This site is dedicated to the loving memory of Officer Jeremy Chambers of the Cahokia, Illinois Police Department. Jeremy was a devoted officer, son, brother, and uncle and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a kind, giving young man whose life came to a tragic early end while serving the community he loved. To honor his memory and promote awareness in the community, his family often coordinates or participates in various commemorative and fundraising events. Thanks to the Chambers family, Jeremy Chamber's name will forever be associated with Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, IL. Two scholarships have been created in his memory.
- Jeremy Chambers Memorial Endowment for Administration of Justice
- Jeremy Chambers Memorial Endowment for Fire Science
Both are open to full and part time students residing in the College District #522. Each scholarship will be awarded once a year in the amount of $500.00. The amount of the endowment will continue to grow as people donate to the scholarship. What a wonderful way to honor and remember Jeremy.
